It will also be concise, providing the reader with necessary information and enough substantiation to build credibility and support a decision, but not so much as to become boring. Above all, it must be correct.
First, be clear. Be so clear in what you write that you cannot possibly be misunder- stood. Write so evaluators can easily score your response in context of the require- ment. Concise writing is easier to read and evaluate. Accordingly, it has a better chance of persuading the reader to reach the desired conclusion. As the last stage in revision, be sure your proposal is correct. The accuracy of your proposal heavily influences the customer’s opinion of your organization. The following list suggests important steps to take: • Confirm references. • Check spelling, punctuation, and grammar. • Resolve word problems.
• Verify consistency with document. • Confirm nomenclature and identities (watch acronyms). • Double-check math and formulas.
